Thursday rain train
Hay fuck balls, The W-man says we have a 20% chance of having a dry Thureday evening. Regardless here is an idea. Meet at the BYE&Bye at 7:30. roll out at 8-8:15 to Gregs weld shop (1810 N columbia Blvd.) free beer, check out the triumph and motor table. Then up to Kenton station for burgers and beers/Danceing BARE for some clap and crabs. At this point the Idea whould be to roll over ST. Johns brigde to Joe's Cellar is NW (1332 NW 21ST Ave ).

FFMC OPENER 2010
Sidelined by a tweaked neck and a kitchen renovation Agnes and I were not able to ride but we cruised down to Kelly's downtown to see the crew off on another rainy FFMC Spring opener. There were plenty of bikes and lotsa folks to chat with. Snapped a few flics of some cool bikes and some of the crew.

IT LIVES! (SORT OF)
First off I would like to say thank you to Chris "Rampage" Holmes for all of his help and guidance through this phase of the build, without Chris the build would be in limbo.
So.... I lost all of the photos I took yay for me..
Last Saturday was a beautiful day to ride and I decided to spend it in my garage trying to get the build rideable. We started around noon and things were going very well until (and despite our best efforts) the linkage for the shift was too short.
So working around that we got her ready to fire and we kicked, and kicked and kicked... About an hour 2 beers 2 hot dogs and a burger later we were stumped.
Enter Agnes's dad, moving through the late afternoon and into the evening hours we took apart everything we put together and traced the problem to a loose connection in the electrical. Kick still no fire...
As Chris was perched atop the bike ready to give it one more try he realized "Hey I'm sitting on top of a bomb this will most likely explode" and wisely thought for a minute that the backfiring we had all been enjoying so much (with flames) was the sound of One cylinder firing.
Then we figured out the spark plug wires were crossed! Kick, smoke, kick, grumble, KICK, FIRE!
It runs and not only does it run it is LOUD! Once she started she kept going and going and going.
So it lives and now all we have to do is put it back together and a few final tweaks and look out.

Maybe Next Week
I'm coming back into town for a week (7th-14th) and if the weather is good I say we haves a Big Ol' BBQ. We could have it at one of our many parks or at my old house. The good thing about my place is that its next to Bonfire and Goodfoot. Just think about it and post up if interested . Or I will see you on MotoThursdays.
AGNES'S NEW BIKE!
We finally found a bike that fit Agnes! Just kidding....
We picked up a 01 SV650 for this Monday a sick little bike with lots of good stuff done to it. It has GSXR suspension, a fender eliminator and a Vance Hines exhaust. Not to mention a 520 chain and Vortex sprocket (she scored) Chris and I have a few things to do it this week but be sure to look out for a yellow blur zipping through the streets of the Rose City!
GARAGE DAYS
CAST YOUR VOTE!
Here's a whole bunch of sexy ass motorcycle! That of course is Betty there on the left and Gordon's beloved Ginger there on the right hanging out before a burn through the farm roads on Sunday. Which one takes the cake though (I'm biased for the hyper) but what can I say? Anyway what do you guys think?
